Frequently asked questions
Answers about the product, working on site, customer handoffs, billing and security.
The product
A web app for commercial AV integrators that records an installation while it happens: rooms, devices, serial numbers, photos, drawings, manuals and configuration backups. When the job is done, it turns that record into a customer handoff with a read-only portal, a branded PDF and a ZIP of every deliverable.
Integration companies that install conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, signage and other commercial AV systems. Technicians capture on site, project managers review and deliver, and owners see every project in one place.
No. It focuses on installation records and the closeout handoff. Scheduling, quoting, purchasing and invoicing stay in the tools you already use.
No. Checklist items are your own workflow requirements. The service does not certify building, electrical or code compliance, and it does not give engineering or legal advice.
Working on site
No. It runs in the browser on any modern phone, tablet or computer. Technicians sign in, open their project and start adding devices.
Yes. Tap the scan button next to the serial number field to read a barcode with the phone camera. Typing the serial number always works too.
Room, device type, manufacturer, model, serial number, asset tag, MAC and IP address, installation date, warranty expiration and notes, plus photos and files such as manuals, warranties and configuration backups.
Saving needs a connection. Where signal is poor, take photos with the phone camera as usual and add them from the photo library once you are back in coverage.
Customer handoff
No. The client portal is a read-only page that opens from a long, private link. You can disable the link or replace it with a new one at any time.
Rooms and installed equipment with photos and serial numbers, an equipment inventory, the documents you chose to share, your support contact details and whether system credentials were transferred.
Yes. Every file has a switch that controls whether the customer sees it. Configuration backups are internal by default because they can contain network details.
The PDF covers the project overview, a room summary, the equipment inventory, a warranty summary, a document index and your support details. The ZIP contains that PDF, an equipment inventory spreadsheet, device photos and every customer-visible file sorted into numbered folders. Downloads stay available for 7 days, and you can generate fresh copies whenever you need them.
No, by design. The app records whether credentials were transferred and when, never the credentials themselves. Hand passwords over through your usual secure channel.
Plans and billing
We are in private beta, so signing up takes a beta key. Email hello@revloy.com to request one. Teammates you invite do not need their own key.
No. Every plan includes unlimited users. You pay one price per company.
Projects that are active or ready for review. Completed and archived projects never count toward your plan limit, so keeping your history costs nothing extra.
Integrator and Pro. Starter includes the client portal but not PDF and ZIP exports or company branding.
Yes. Every plan can be billed monthly or annually, and annual billing includes 2 months free. Owners and admins can switch from the billing page. The change takes effect right away, and unused time on your current billing period is credited.
Your projects, devices and files stay where they are. Choose a plan on the billing page to start new projects again. PDF and ZIP exports need the Integrator or Pro plan.
Yes. Owners and admins can switch plans, update payment details and cancel from the billing page. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Security and data
Only members of your company. Owners, admins and project managers see every project. Technicians see the projects they are assigned to.
Uploads are kept in private storage and opened through short-lived links created for each download. Files are checked against their actual content when uploaded, executable file types are blocked, and each document can be up to 100 MB.
With an email address and password, plus optional two-factor authentication or a passkey. Email addresses are verified before anyone can open a project.
Deleted projects and companies are kept for a 30-day recovery period, then permanently removed along with their files.
